High fire stoneware mug, fired in a brick kiln. The shine and texture is given by salt added to the kiln at high temperature.
Features a clear glaze on the inside and around the lip that took on a pinkish hue in response to the firing. A lovely complex surface. You will be finding new interesting spots on it every time you use it.
