Originally from Romania, I have been living in New Zealand since 2011. A few years ago, whilst training as a teacher, I discovered clay and I also discovered something about myself: I have hands that need to be constantly making something and a brain that loves to dream up new creations.
I put them to work, and I have been rewarded with many incredible moments when something beautiful emerges from the mess of working with clay.
I share glimpses of my life as a potter on Instagram. What you see in this shop are the creations that made it through the perilous journey of becoming a pot. What you do not see are the broken pieces and the recycled clay that taught me how to be a better potter.
